Grace’s journey to household management began long before Atworth was created. Born and raised in Middle Tennessee, Grace grew up on a small family farm in a home of seven children, where she learned from an early age the responsibility, organization, and teamwork required to keep a household running smoothly.

Those early experiences gave Grace a genuine appreciation for the behind-the-scenes work that allows a home to thrive. She began supporting other families at a young age and officially entered private service at 17 as a nanny and housekeeper. Over the years, she gained firsthand experience in the many layers of household support, gradually growing into roles with greater responsibility in household management.

Working inside private homes shaped Grace’s understanding of what families truly need from their household staff: discretion, reliability, emotional intelligence, and someone who genuinely understands the rhythm and expectations of their home.

After seeing firsthand the challenges families faced in finding exceptional household professionals—and recognizing the need for a more thoughtful approach to supporting both families and the professionals who serve them—Grace founded Atworth in 2022 from a passion for excellence and a desire to help families find trusted professionals who bring organization, consistency, and peace of mind to their homes.
